Oncology Registered Nurse - Aurora, Colorado

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Chemotherapy certification is a strong plus, enabling work on the Oncology unit
• Flexibility to float across Med/Tele and Rehab units with a patient ratio averaging 1:5
• Compassionate team player with strong critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions, including a large cardiac population
• Operate within Meditech EMR system and utilize various medical equipment effectively
• Collaborate with a nursing team and other healthcare professionals on both day and night shifts
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment while adhering to unit policies and guidelines
• Demonstrate flexibility to float between inpatient Med/Tele, Oncology, and Rehab units as needed

• 7 PM to 7 AM shift hours
