Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in oncology to support a 36-bed Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit in Arvada, CO. This unit provides advanced care to patients with blood cancers undergoing chemotherapy, biotherapies, and cutting-edge cellular therapies including stem cell transplants and CAR-T treatments. The role involves working night shifts in a dynamic acute care environment using Epic charting, focusing on compassionate, expert care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with hematologic cancers in a specialized BMT and Oncology Unit.
- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapies, and cellular therapy treatments safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Utilize Epic electronic health records for accurate documentation and communication.
- Float within like units as needed to support overall patient care.
- Adhere to unit safety protocols and maintain a patient ratio of 3-4:1.
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or Compact RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years acute care experience in Bone Marrow Transplant or hematology/oncology nursing.
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), including weekends as needed.
- Willingness to float within like units when necessary.
- First-time oncology nurses with required experience are encouraged to apply.
Additional Information
- The BMT Unit is soon expanding to 51 beds, offering growth opportunities.
- On-call duties are not required.
- The contract includes a maximum of 10 RTO (Return to Office) days, with restricted RTO periods during peak holiday and seasonal times.
