Job Description
We developed a software (mobile app + web app) using donor funding. Currently, we own all IP. We are now planning to license the software under an open-source license. We need assistance answering two specific IP transfer/tax related questions:
- Because this is a nonprofit offering an open-source platform, is there anything we should be careful about regarding how the transfer of the IP is documented?
- Are there implications with the IRS if this becomes a popular platform in the future and the NGO is related to its development?
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
