Job Description

Pre-Production:Review job orders and specifications.Prepare machines and materials (inks, labels, ribbons).Conduct quality checks on materials.Machine Operation:Set up and adjust label printing machines.Feed labels, ink, and ribbons into machines.Monitor print quality, registration, and color consistency.Operate machines (start, stop, adjust).Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication).Quality Control:Inspect labels for defects (ink smudges, misalignment).Conduct quality checks during production.Adjust machines as needed.Post-Production:Remove finished labels from machines.Roll, cut, or sheet labels as required.Package and prepare labels for shipping.Maintain production records (quantity, quality).Additional Responsibilities:Troubleshoot machine issues.Assist in machine maintenance and repairs.Maintain a safe working environment.Collaborate with colleagues (design, production).Meet production deadlines and quality standards.Skills Required:Mechanical aptitude.Attention to detail.Basic computer skills.Communication and teamwork.Ability to lift/move heavy rolls.
