Openshift Automation Engineer

Overview

TEKsystems are looking to onboard an OpenShift Automation Engineer to work on a large technology migration for a Tier-1 Banking client. The role is a long-term project running between 12-24 months, working alongside an existing product management team on Operational Observability as part of this migration.

Responsibilities

• OpenShift virtualization (KubeVirt) SME level experience, including VM lifecycle management, migration from vSphere, and production operations.
• Platform engineering on OpenShift, with GitOps-driven operations, operator lifecycle management, and enterprise-grade governance.
• Deep infrastructure troubleshooting spanning storage, networking, and performance for VM-based workloads on OpenShift.
• Production-grade OpenShift virtualization (KubeVirt) experience, including VM lifecycle, migration from vSphere, and performance-aware operations.
