Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled OpenStack & Linux Administrator to manage and support cloud infrastructure built on Red Hat OpenStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Linux platforms. The role focuses on administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of virtualized and containerized environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.


Key Responsibilities:

Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP / RHOSO).

Red Hat OpenShift & Kubernetes.

Ceph Storage (RBD, CephFS, Object Storage).

Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS).

Virtualization: KVM, VMware, ESXi, Proxmox.

Monitoring & Observability: Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana.

Database Management: MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:

OpenStack & Cloud Operations:

Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot Red Hat OpenStack Platform

Manage core services: Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Horizon

Provision and manage VMs, networks, volumes, snapshots, and images

Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and fault resolution.


OpenShift & Kubernetes:

Support OpenShift / Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads

Manage nodes, namespaces, RBAC, scaling, and upgrades

Assist in integration of container platforms with OpenStack infrastructure


Ceph Storage:

Deploy and manage Ceph storage for OpenStack services

Monitor cluster health, performance, and storage utilization

Troubleshoot OSD, MON, and network-related storage issues


Virtualization:

Administer virtualization platforms: KVM, VMware, ESXi, Proxmox

Manage hypervisors, VM lifecycle, and resource allocation

Ensure high availability and optimal performance of virtual environments


Linux Administration:

Install, configure, and maintain RHEL-based Linux systems

Perform OS hardening, patching, and security compliance

Troubleshoot system, storage, and network-level issues

Automate routine tasks using shell scripting


Monitoring & Operations:

Implement monitoring using Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana

Configure alerts, dashboards, and health checks

Provide proactive incident response and L2/L3 support


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Ansible or automation tools

Knowledge of data centre operations and IT security practices

Relevant Red Hat or Cloud certifications
