Day to Day:
We are seeking a skilled Operating Engineer to support the efficient operation of all mechanical, electrical, and building systems across a large, 24/7 production facility. This is a dynamic role requiring adaptability, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a high volume industrial setting. On a daily basis, you’ll have the first half of your day dedicated to true PM responsibilities and the latter half of your day dedicated to breaking down a backlog of corrective work orders. This role requires hands on work in the troubleshooting of HVAC equipment, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, and general building infrastructure in an environment with aging equipment and high production demand. The technician will monitor and adjust systems such as chillers, cooling towers, RTUs, split systems, pumps, motors, and compressors while responding to BMS/BAS alarms, conducting root cause analysis, and maintaining safe work...
