Operating Support & Training Manager

Overview

The Operating Support & Training (OS&T) Manager is a key leader within the Austal Defence Australia (ADA) Integrated Product Support (IPS) team. The OS&T Manager drives operating and training support outcomes, providing strategic leadership for OS&T Teams across multiple shipbuilding programs. The role sets enterprise standards and establishes business processes for crew workforce analysis and design, developing ship operating procedures and planning training support programs. This includes guiding and mentoring the development and integration of Mission System operating procedures as the interactive electronic technical publications (IETP), the training curricula and training equipment, and associated Technical Data within the IPS framework and integrated data environment. The OS&T Manager ensures systems and facilities are in place for the OS&T Teams to complete Introduction-Into-Service training as contracted and transfer the ship to the customer’s custody. <...
