  • Supervise, mentor and develop a team of 8 QA Technicians across multiple shifts
  • Schedule and allocate QA Resources to ensure 24/7 quality coverage
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews and training sessions
  • Oversee in-process and finished product inspections, sampling and testing
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, SQF, HACCP, ISO and other relevant standards
  • Investigate and resolve quality deviations, non-conformances and customer complaints
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA records, logs and reports

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science
  • GFSI trained
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Be computer literate - Word and Excel.
  • People management / leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred
  • Knowledge of lean problem solving tools
