Operational Support Officer - Visits

Here in the Serco recruitment team, we're responsible for hiring people that deliver essential public services in Defence, Transport, Justice & Immigration, Citizen Services and Healthcare.

As the Operational Support Officer you will report for duty at the appropriate time in order to check the daily detail to take up your post for the day. You will liaise with the Visits Unit Manager or PCO in charge, with regard to any special instructions for the day ahead. You will ensure any equipment at your given work station/post is in good working order and that any required test checks are completed (x-ray equipment, Vis Fingers, metal detectors etc).
