Job Summary

Position incumbent will be relied on to provide accurate financial data, operational data and contribute to the development of various reporting tools necessary to carry out the mission of the Colleges and University.

Position provides administrative support to the ongoing operations of the College of Podiatric Medicine (CPM), the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP) and the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific–Northwest (COMP-Northwest) as assigned by the Senior Director of Operations, COMP/CPM and the Senior Director of Operations, COMP/COMP-Northwest.

Position reports to and is evaluated by the Senior Director of Operations, COMP/CPM. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with diverse units and
personalities within CPM, COMP and across the University.
2. Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
3. Expert level Excel user with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
4. Ability to use multiple computer programs as needed to accomplish essential job functions (Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc). Experience with MS Project helpful.
5. Organizational skills necessary to prioritize workload to meet long and
short-term deadlines.
6. Flexibility in job assignments to meet departmental priorities and emerging or unplanned initiatives
7. Ability to handle detail-oriented assignments with accuracy and consistency, with minimal supervision.
8. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to interact effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students is a top priority.
9. Advanced mathematical skills. Required Qualifications 1. Education: AA degree and/or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.

2. Experience: 3-5 years support staff experience in a large, high volume office setting.

Assists the Office of Operations, CPM/COMP/COMP-Northwest in monitoring budgets for the College of Podiatric Medicine, the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific–Northwest including: generating check requisitions, materials requisitions, and budget transfers; credit card expense reports, honoraria; proposals, and reports; provides the Senior Directors with weekly reports on account status. Percentage Of Time 50 Job Duties 2. Assists in the preparation of budgets and financial reports for restricted and unrestricted designated funds.


Percentage Of Time 5 Job Duties 3. Assists the Office of Operations as the financial administrator for CPM, COMP & COMP-Northwest. Percentage Of Time 10 Job Duties 4. Manages calendars, schedules meetings and provides general office support for the Senior Director of Operations, COMP/CPM. Percentage Of Time 5 Job Duties 5. Assists the Office of Operations in producing, maintaining and updating information, scheduling and planning pertaining to accreditation processes. Percentage Of Time 5 Job Duties 6. Organizes, designs, and/or manages special projects, as assigned by the Senior Director of Operations, COMP/CPM and the Senior Director of Operations, COMP/COMP-Northwest. Percentage Of Time 10 Job Duties 7. Responsible for assisting with the development and oversight of project schedules and timelines for the Colleges of Podiatric Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine & Osteopathic Medicine–Northwest.
