Job Description
**JOB SUMMARY**
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and assigning the work and equipment of the Night Shipping operations to enhance the efficiency of the shipping processes and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures. They are responsible for communicating with Sales and other department leaders regarding changes to loads and shorts and assist in problem solving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Create and maintain databases and spreadsheets, prepare summary information for manager's review
+ Prepare and update recurring and routine internal reports, collect and verify data.
+ Evaluate current operational performance and participate in the creation of strategic ideas for improvement.
+ Train new selectors in the use of putty system and shorts process.
+ Prioritize routes for selection.
+ Create truck load sheets once routing/putty is set up
+ Conduct pre-shift meetings as...
