Operations & Data Analyst

RivetStays is a Toronto-based premium short- and mid-term rental operator. We run a data-driven hospitality business and are building internal systems that scale.

We’re hiring an Operations & Data Analyst to handle a wide range of internal operational, business, and data tasks — from ad-hoc ops work and data cleanup, to writing SQL and maintaining dashboards in Metabase / Looker Studio.

This is a generalist execution role with a strong analytics component. Work is internal (not customer-facing) and varies week to week.

What You’ll Do

You will own a mix of operational and analytical work, including:

• Execute ad-hoc internal operational and business tasks

 (updating documents, filling forms, maintaining logs, moving data between systems)

• Clean, format, and maintain data in Google Sheets

• Scrub and standardize operational data (addresses, listings, bookings, records)

• Reconcile data across multiple tools and sources

• Write SQL queries to answer internal business questions

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Metabase and / or Looker Studio

• Produce weekly and monthly summaries and KPI views

• Document assumptions, edge cases, and work completed clearly

Operational and business tasks take priority; analytics and dashboarding build on top of that work.

What We’re Looking For

Required

Strong attention to detail

Solid problem-solving and critical thinking

Comfort handling a wide variety of tasks

Strong Google Sheets skills

Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL

• Experience building dashboards in Metabase, Looker Studio, or similar
• Clear written communication
• Reliable and execution-focused

Nice to Have

• Exposure to automation or scripting
• Prior experience in operations, analytics, or data support roles

Compensation & Location

• Remote
• ~$500–900/month depending on experience
• Opportunity to take on more responsibility over time
