We have an unmissable opportunity for a target-driven Operations Director to join our award-winning client. They are looking a self-motivated individual of the calibre that will help them fulfil their ambitious, well-supported plans.
You will manage and coordinate all print production operations, adopting best practises in all areas to drive efficiency; and initiate lean manufacturing plans and processes which minimise costs through effective utilisation of manpower, equipment, facilities and materials. Being successful in this role will depend heavily on a strong commercial acumen and financial understanding.
As Operations Director, your role will ultimately be to guarantee the highest level of customer satisfaction through the adherence of company standards in terms of quality and service. You maintain an open line of communication and work closely with the scheduling department to set realistic time-frames and deadlines.
Managing personnel will be a key part to this role. You will determine manning of all employees including full time and temp workers; hold daily production meetings; and hire, discipline and evaluate all employees. We are looking for someone who can command authority and gain respect from all subordinates.
