RWE is developing the largest offshore windfarm in Denmark to date, Thor, which will be built 22 kilometers off the coast of Thorsminde on the west coast of Jutland with a capacity of more than 1 GW. 72 units of Siemens Gamesa's flagship SG DD offshore wind turbines are planned to be installed. Once fully operational in 2027, Thor will produce green electricity to more than 1 million Danish households.

The Operations Engineer – Electrical & Auxiliary Systems is responsible for the operational availability of the Auxiliary Systems on both offshore and onshore electrical substations (in collaboration with the current Operations Electrical Engineer) and for being site focal point for all SCADA topics (in collaboration with central support functions) for Thor Offshore Windfarm.
