Job Description Job Description Description – Operations Engineer - Linux / Networking Summary: The engineer will support nationwide vCMTS and R-PHY turn-ups by following established operational processes. This role is part of the NGAN (Next?Generation Access Network) Operations team, which is responsible for standing up the vCMTS platform, performing software installation, maintaining system and network health, and supporting new product integration as Comcast deploys the world's first distributed access architecture (DAA) cable system. This is a 24/7 operations environment requiring participation in an on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays.
