Job Summary
We are seeking an Operations Executive with a strong understanding of Indian financial regulations, investor behavior, and local market dynamics. This role will support the establishment and development of local operations in India, while acting as a key liaison between headquarters and the India team.
The successful candidate will drive localized strategy execution, user growth, brand development, and compliance initiatives, ensuring sustainable and compliant business growth in the Indian market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market & Strategy Execution
- Analyze trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics within the Indian CFD and online trading market.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and provide actionable market insights and strategic recommendations.
- Translate headquarters’ strategies into localized operational plans aligned with Indian user behavior (e.g. onboarding flow, deposit incentives, trading education).
- Prepare regular market analysis and performance reports to support headquarters’ strategic decision-making.
2. User Growth & Conversion
- Optimize conversion performance across key funnels, including KYC completion, deposits, and first-time trades.
- Plan and execute localized marketing initiatives for Indian traders, such as deposit promotions, trading campaigns, referral programs, and incentive structures.
3. Client Engagement, Retention & Education
- Promote and localize trader education initiatives, including webinars, video content, and community-based activities.
- Collaborate with headquarters to analyze client behavior, churn patterns, and lifecycle performance, and implement retention and re-engagement strategies.
- Manage and grow local client communities across platforms such as Telegram, WhatsApp, and YouTube to enhance client engagement and brand loyalty.
4. Compliance & Risk Support
- Support the company in strengthening compliance frameworks and operational alignment with Indian regulatory requirements.
- Assist internal stakeholders in identifying and mitigating operational and market-related risks in India.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, compliance, customer support, and operations teams to support India-related initiatives.
- Provide market insights and operational support to other departments as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, marketing, or market management roles within the Indian market.
- Experience in online financial services, CFDs, foreign exchange (FX), cryptocurrency, securities, insurance, or related industries is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Indian financial consumer behavior, local payment systems (e.g. UPI, Paytm, Razorpay), and regulatory trends.
- Experience working with remote, regional, or multinational teams is preferred.
- Fluent in English and Hindi (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI , or similar.
- Basic project management and campaign execution capabilities.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently in a remote or cross-border environment.
