Operations Manager - Fabrications

Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our Fabrications division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing fabrication processes, ensuring quality control, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing / Fabrications operations in process equipment like pressure vessels, columns and reactors.
• Oversee daily operations of the fabrications department to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage and mentor a team of fabrications staff, providing guidance and support in their roles.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure fabrication processes align with project specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock of materials.
• Conduct regular inspections of fabrication processes and equipment to identify and resolve any issues.
• Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 7-12 years of experience in operations management, specifically in the fabrication industry.
• Experience in heat ex changers, process modules, tanks.
• Knowledge of ASME code and implementing modern fabrications technologies
• Strong ERP awareness, primavera is preferred.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and technologies.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
