Overview

The Reinforced Earth® Wall System was initially introduced to the Philippines in 1984. In that time, several business units of Geoquest, such as Vietnam, Malaysia, and Australia, collaborated with local contractors for various private and government projects.

As a result of these collaborative initiatives, a pathway was paved for the standardization of the Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Wall System in the Philippines. Drawing from the experiences and insights gained through these partnerships, the Reinforced Earth® Wall System served as a foundational guideline for the development of construction practices outlined in the Department of Public Works and Highways’ Blue Book. Geoquest Philippines subsequently established a local office in 2016, headquartered in Makati, Philippines.
