Summary Of Position

The Operations Manager handles all aspects of operations including order processing, inventory management and control, business planning, branch office and equipment logistics, yard operations and administration of the daily operations of the Operations Department. The Operations Manager, Southwest reports directly to the Southern Region Operations Manager. This will be an on-site position located in Tomball, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including management of staff (Yard Manager, Logistics, Yard staff, CSR(s), Demand Planner, Truck Drivers) and staff development in coordination with the Branch/Area Manager and National HR.
  • Manage procurement of goods and services in coordination with the Controller/CFO and Head of Procurement, ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines.
