Job Description
About the role:
The Operations Representative is responsible for setting up shipments, coordinating pickups, monitoring shipments in transit, and resolving any issues or delays. Additionally, this person updates everything via our TMS system, and will work closely with our customers on any escalations or transit issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Confirm the status of loads scheduled for pickup the previous day and update the TMS with complete and accurate information.
Monitor shipments daily during transit, proactively resolve delays, and keep customers informed at all times.
Manage and follow up on complex in-transit issues, including damages, delays, reconsignments, rescues, and other exceptions, in coordination with carriers and terminals.
Audit carrier charges and accessorial, manage discrepancies, and communicate updates to customers.
