On-Site



The Operations Site Leader, Germany is responsible for leading overall site operations and ensuring strong, consistent execution across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and materials.



This role provides clear operational leadership at the site level, with accountability for performance, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment. The Operations Site Leader acts as the primary point of operational ownership for the Germany site, translating global Operations strategy into effective local execution while ensuring compliance with German and EU requirements.



Reporting directly to the Global Head of Operations, this role strengthens leadership presence, accelerates decision-making, and enables disciplined execution to support safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement objectives. The role is designed as a long-term leadership position, focused on building sustainable operational capability and strong leadership practices at the site.



**Responsibilities:**



**Site Operations Leadership**



+ Lead and oversee overall operational performance of the Germany site, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity

+ Ensure structured decision-making, clear priorities, and disciplined execution across the site

+ Drive alignment and accountability across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Materials functions

+ Identify operational risks and ensure timely mitigation actions



**Cross-Functional & Global Alignment**



+ Serve as the primary operational leader for the Germany site

+ Partner closely with Global Operations and other global functions to deploy standards, processes, and best practices

+ Balance global expectations with local site requirements and regulatory considerations



**People Leadership & Engagement**



+ Provide visible leadership presence and foster trust across the site

+ Strengthen employee engagement through clear communication, consistent leadership behaviors, and accountability

+ Support, coach, and develop functional leaders and supervisors

+ Work constructively within Germany’s co-determination environment, partnering appropriately with employee representatives and Works Councils as applicable



**Continuous Improvement & Execution Excellence**



+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company’s operating system and strategic objectives

+ Apply structured problem-solving and data-driven approaches to improve performance sustainably

+ Embed improvements into daily management routines and standard work



**Communication & Stakeholder Management**



+ Communicate clearly and consistently with site leadership, employees, and global stakeholders

+ Escalate risks, issues, and decisions early with context, options, and recommendations

+ Represent the Germany site in global Operations forums and leadership meetings



**Qualifications & Experience**



Required



+ 5-10 years of operations leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

+ Demonstrated success driving site-level performance and cross-functional execution

+ Experience leading within structured, regulated, or matrixed organizations

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups

+ Structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making

+ Travel up to 15% internationally



Preferred



+ Experience working in Germany or the broader EU

+ Familiarity with German labor practices and co-determination frameworks

+ Experience in global, multi-site manufacturing organizations

+ Exposure to Lean, operational excellence, or continuous improvement methodologies
