Operations Technician

We have a great opportunity for an established Biomass plant who are seeking an experienced hands-on Operations Technician to join the shift team to actively deliver, planned and reactive first line maintenance, operational routines and testing requirements.
Your new role
Responsibilities include:

Operate the plant safely and within all environmental and operational limits at all times.
Monitor plant conditions and ensure Environmental Permit compliance; report any issues.
Carry out routine inspections, checks, adjustments, tests and record plant data.
Perform basic maintenance, fault‑finding and defect rectification to support reliability.
Track plant performance and take action to improve efficiency.
Follow site safety rules, including authorised isolations and HV switching.
Support emergency drills and take assigned roles during abnormal situations.
