As part of a dynamic team in the Broadband NOC, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Broadband network. This role involves evaluating, opening/closing trouble tickets, and working on the repair of network equipment/facilities with field operations, tech support, and other work groups. Familiarity with equipment-specific maintenance procedures is required, and the ability to assist field operations in card swaps and equipment restoration is crucial. A solid understanding of Broadband/DSLAM network topology is essential, and some basic knowledge of Ethernet router/switch equipment is advantageous. You should be able to follow Methods of Procedure (MOPs), anticipate problems, and take proactive corrective action.
