Operative – Civils Contractor (Contract)

Start Date: Thursday 5th February 2026
Duration: Short-term contract – approx. 3-4 days (potential to extend)
Employer: Working on behalf of a civils contractor
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operative to support a civils project in Guildford. This is a short-term contract position starting this Thursday, with the potential to last a week depending on progress.
The role will involve a mix of concrete, tiling and painting works, requiring a good all-round skill set and a practical, hands-on approach.
Duties & Responsibilities

Cutting out and removing existing tiles
*
Carrying out concrete repairs, including filling and making good

Applying two coats of emulsion paint to repaired areas

General operative duties as required on site
