Heavy Equipment Operator Citgo Lake Charles Major Purpose: The primary responsibility of the Equipment Operator is to safely operate heavy machinery, such as material handler (excavator), conveyor belts and front end loaders, to handle petroleum coke in the Citgo refinery in Lake Charles Louisiana, and assist in maintaining the equipment according to Savage standards. Responsibilities The Equipment Operator will contribute to a coke-handling team by operating several pieces of equipment that will help move, stockpile, and load material onto trucks. Operate any one of the following on a daily basis: a KOMATSU WA500 Loader (or equivalent), Skid steer and a Material Handler Assist the operation with other tasks deemed necessary to meet customer expectations; i.e. maintenance, clean-up, safety observations and inspections Perform thorough pre and post-trip inspections Maintain cleanliness of equipment Expand personal knowledge of operating equipment Report maintenance issues to the...
