Operator in Training, Vacuum Truck Services

GFL Environmental is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Operator in Training. This is a developmental role designed for individuals who are eager to learn, work hard, and build a long-term career in the industry. We offer comprehensive Class 3A or 1A license training to successful candidates who demonstrate commitment, reliability, and meet performance expectations during their probationary period.

As an Operator in Training, you will work alongside experienced Vacuum Truck Operators and be involved in providing services such as (but not limited to): hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading/hauling of various fluids and materials. You'll gain hands-on experience in a safety-first, team-oriented environment while receiving mentorship and the opportunity to grow into a licensed operator role.
