Job Description Job Description The ophthalmic technician is a key clinical team member who supports the ophthalmologist by providing thorough, efficient and compassionate patient care. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and perform workups including patient histories, including chief complaint, ocular and medical history, medications, allergies, and review of systems Perform diagnostic testing such as OCT, Optos, Visual Fields, Corneal Topography, Pachymetry, IOL Master/Biometry Accurately document findings in patient charts, maintain organized exam rooms, and help manage efficient patient flow throughout the day.
