Job Description

​​​​​The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking candidates with various subspecialties at Instructor, Assistant Professor or,​​ Associate Professor levels, to join the active department that covers all subspecialties, with an active residency program. 

​Candidates must have displayed interest in academic Ophthalmology, with fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease, Retina and Vitreous, Glaucoma, Refractive and Cataract Surgery, Oculoplastic and Orbit Surgery, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Uveitis, or Pediatric Ophthalmology. 

​​​​Candidates must also have a research background as well as academic commitment to research and teaching. Candidates are preferably to be eligible for or certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology or its equivalent. 

​​Candidates are expected to cover the clinical service at Kes​​erwan Medical Center (KMC) - ​​​​​​​​owned by AUB - in addition for having clinical privileges at FM/AUBMC.
