Job Title: Design Lead – Bus body design (Structure, FRP, ABS vacuum formed parts)

• CAD Tool: Creo(Primary), Catia (optional)
• Experience: 10-12 yrs in Bus Body design industry.
• Candidate should have executed at least 3-4 complete Bus engineering projects for different customers.
• Must have experience as a SPOC to co-ordinate with customer to ensure deliveries of assigned project
• Team handling capability for team of 10-12 engineers
• Must have ability to work effectively within a team environment and be able to perform job responsibilities independently.
• Strong project execution skill
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Job responsibility:
• Packaging of proprietary systems like AC, Seating layouts, Handrails etc.
• Design release of proprietary and BTP parts as per customer’s design release process using GD&T.
• Candidate should be expert in Creo software.
• Good Understanding of Bus body code & regulations
• Responsible for ensuring systems to meet all functional and performance requirements.
• Create and analyze alternative design concepts & customer alignment.
• Preparation & consolidation of Bill of material, Customer data management
• To follow defined processes & customer standards and maintain quality and delivery targets in day-to-day customer deliveries.
• Understanding of various bus body parts manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of material and technical specification of Buses.
• Expertise in designing of bus body structure, fascia's, packaging of proprietary parts, regulations
• Good knowledge of DFA/DFM/DFS.
• Good understanding of PLM/PDM software.
• Good understanding of vehicle system & subsystems.
• Should be conversant with automobile company standards.
