Job Description
Experience: 8 to 10 years
Skills: Body-in-White (BIW) Component Development (Sheet Metal, Stamping, Weldments)
APQP Leadership: Lead and manage the entire APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process for new BIW components, ensuring all phases are completed on time with cross-functional sign-offs.
Specification Management: Understand Specification & Requirement from the design team and communicate them accurately to potential suppliers.
Supplier Qualification: Drive Supplier Identification, Supplier Selection, and conduct mandatory Supplier Audit and capability assessments for new vendors.
Tooling & Manufacturing: Leverage deep Tooling, Raw Material and manufacturing Process Knowledge to monitor and approve tooling design, fabrication, and trials. Ensure component manufacturability and meet the Quality proving requirements.
Travel whenever required for supplier visits, technical audits, and tooling trials.
