Key Skills: Vehicle Interior & Exterior Costing (Plastics, Trims, Seating, Lighting, Bumpers)

• Zero Based Costing: Lead the development and maintenance of Zero Based Costing models for complex interior and exterior parts, particularly focusing on plastic injection molding, foaming, painting, and intricate assembly processes.
• Cost Breakdowns: Deconstruct supplier quotes into granular cost elements, comparing them against the internal should-cost model. Key components include:
• Accurate calculation and analysis of MHR (Machine Hour Rate) / Labour Rate.
• Material consumption based on the Raw material data base (especially polymer and resin costs) and wastage rates.
• Detailed analysis of overhead application and profitability.
• Process Expertise: Utilize deep Tooling, Raw Material and manufacturing Process Knowledge of plastics (injection molding, blow molding), seating, trims, and surface finishes (painting, chrome plating) to estimate costs accurately.
