Job Description

Our client is a large MNC with their regional R & D Center in Singapore. R&D in Optical or lens Design, Optical Sensor & System, LightTools, Zemax, CodeV beam shaping optics, objective lenses, ToF systems, micro lens arrays, free form optics and diffractive optical elements.
Responsibilities:
  • Primarily involves the design of VCSEL beam shaping optics and objective lenses for use in ToF systems operating in the near infra-red or visible wavelength range.
  • Uses of non-sequential ray tracing simulation tools such as LightTools and Zemax to establish design performance, sensitivity to manufacturing variations, and provide yield estimations.
  • Help coordinate the manufacturing implementation of lens designs for prototyping and mass production in 3rd party manufacturers, and will need to engage in effective and efficient communication with suppliers on a daily basis.
