Job Summary
Domain specific knowledge in electronics, mechanical, optics, firmware, system are required and combined towards our SICK purpose to deliver sensor intelligence into products & solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and develop optical circuits, modules and systems for SICK Products.
Perform test procedures to verify and ensure Product quality and robustness.
Complete all assigned and required tasks to fulfil project scope including timely product launch.
Support to close Product Lifecycle topics including troubleshooting for root cause analysis, coordinating certification topics and customer topics.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Optical Engineering, Engineering Optics or equivalent.
At least 2 years in a Research and Development Role.
Basic understanding of Sensor technology.
Basic understanding of IEC/ISO standards (IEC 62471 / IEC
Good understanding of first order ray tracing technique.
