Role Description

We are seeking an Optics Engineer for a full-time position at our Bengaluru location. In this on-site role, the Optics Engineer will design, develop, and test advanced optical systems and components for various cutting-edge space applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing optical simulations, optimizing system performance, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of innovative and sustainable technologies for the newspace economy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Optical Design and Engineering, with a strong understanding of optical principles and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Laser technologies and their applications in optical systems.
• Experience in Systems Design with an emphasis on integrating optical components into larger systems.
• A solid foundation in Physics, particularly optics, light-matter interaction, and electromagnetic theory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with experience in experimental and computational methods.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience in the spacetech or aerospace industry is a plus.
• Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
