Accountable for :

  • Perform activities in compliance with Metier Development Plan of his/her PG/PL
  • Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
  • In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
  • Support technical architecture and standards assignments
  • Follow Standardization rules
  • Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers

His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product

Complying With Métiers Processes And Design Rules

  • Perform or support Optics design simulations/coding/validation
  • Perform or support Optics design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
  • Perform or support Optics tests

Management follow-up

  • Reports the progress of his tasks
  • Escalate risks
  • Follow-up optical developments in his perimeter. Ensure application of optic rules and procedures. Coordinates métier design reviews and associated action plan.

Others Actions As Member Of Optic Network

  • Tech watch analysis on the subjects concerned by his domain of expertise (product, patent)
  • Participate in meetings of creativity by offering innovative solutions that can lead to patents.
  • Makes suggestions to set up within the Laboratory, (material or methodological developments) aimed at improving the efficiency of the service.
  • May, within its field of expertise or through studies specific to the service, supervise a trainee.

Applying the Environment Safety and Security procedures and good practices; know for their activities and the activities of subcontractors the potential risks and their consequences. Be attentive and responsive to them and manage the associated action plans.
