A facility in Alaska is seeking an Optometrist to join their team! Housing and Flights Provided! Pay: $120/hr Optometrist Opportunity: Full-time, locums opportunity Schedule: Mon-Fri; Day Shift 16-week contract Housing and Flights Provided! Weekly Pay! Benefits Available! Optometrist Responsibilities Conduct eye exams and detect, problems in vision, abnormal conditions and diseases Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses and any other medications for eye disorders Educate patients regarding treatment and care for eye conditions or diseases Optometrist Qualifications: MD/DO from an accredited University At least 2 years of previous optometrist experience Willing to obtain a medical license in the state of Alaska About the Location: Strong sense of community: Remote Alaska towns often have close-knit, supportive communities where people genuinely look out for one another.
