Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a main OR setting handling approximately 45 cases daily.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams during orthopedic, spine, general, breast, urology, robotic, gynecologic, podiatry, and plastic surgery procedures.
  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical records and various clinical technologies such as Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing systems.
  • Participate in scheduled call rotations covering weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain adherence to facility policies, patient safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Registered Nurse license with at least 2 years of operating room experience.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Proficiency in circulating for complex cases, including orthopedic, cardiovascular, general, and robotic surgeries.
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and accommodate call schedules.

Schedule & Benefits:

  • 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM7:00 PM, with on-call requirements averaging 3-4 weeknight calls plus weekend shifts within a six-week rotation.
  • Orientation provided over five 8-hour shifts tailored to main OR or CVOR.
