Senior ETL(Oracle+AWS) Developer

About the Role


We are seeking a Senior ETL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle, AWS Glue and Redshift. The role involves designing and optimizing ETL workflows (written using spark/Python) while integrating between Oracle and AWS services (Redshift). Also, maintaining repositories thereby ensuring smooth orchestration, CI/CD of developed components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize the currently implemented spark(python/pyspark) based ETL workflows(Glue) for enterprise data integration.

  • Develop new workflows catering to enhancements.

  • AWS Redshift performance tuning and workload management to facilitate optimized storage and quick retrieval.

  • Able to suggest on creation of optimized keys(Sort) for Redshift tables.

  • Manage data ingestion from Oracle to AWS Redshift and S3, ensuring data quality and integrity.

  • Orchestrate ETL workflows using AWS Step functions and Apache Managed AirFlow.

  • Implement data governance, security, and compliance across Oracle and AWS environments.

    • Must-Have Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in ETL development with strong focus on ETL tools (AWS Glue/ ODI/Informatica).

  • Expertise in Oracle database concepts, performance tuning for ETL processes.

  • Strong Hands-on experience integrating ETL workflows with AWS services (Glue, Redshift, S3).

  • AWS Glue: ability to build and optimize ETL pipelines using PySpark/Python.

  • Intermediate Spark and Python skills for data transformation and automation.

  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts.

  • Redshift performance tuning/optimization

  • Experience with workflow orchestration (AWS Step Functions, AirFlow) and CI/CD practices.

  • Experience with any ETL Tool(ODI, Informatica)

  • Knowledge of data governance tools like Lake Formation and cost optimization strategies on AWS.

  • Knowledge of PL/SQL Programming

  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud data architecture and migration strategies.

  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
