Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle CC&B Technical Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting CC&B technical architecture, integrations, and customizations for utility domain projects. This is a remote, contract-based role open to candidates across India.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and define technical architecture for Oracle CC&B implementations and enhancements
- Lead CC&B technical development, configuration, and customization activities
- Develop and maintain custom algorithms, plug-ins, batch jobs, and scripts
- Design and implement integrations using web services, SOAP/REST, MQ, and flat files
- Provide technical leadership for upgrades, patches, and performance tuning
- Ensure adherence to Oracle Utilities best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis
- Support data migration, conversion, and interface development
- Prepare and review technical design documents (TDDs) and architecture diagrams
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B
- Strong expertise in CC&B Technical Architecture
- Proficiency in:
- CC&B Framework
- Java, Groovy, SQL, PL/SQL
- CC&B Algorithms, Business Objects, Zones, BPA scripts
- Experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF)
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns (REST/SOAP, middleware, batch processing)
- Experience working with RDBMS (Oracle DB)
- Exposure to CC&B upgrades and cloud/on-prem environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in utility domain (Electricity, Water, Gas)
- Exposure to other Oracle Utilities products (MDM, OMS, WAM, OUA)
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise implementations
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Oracle Utilities CC&B Certification (Good to have)
