Job Title:  Oracle Apps DBA

Location: Greenville, SC (ONSITE)

Duration: 12+months 

Job Description:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience with minimum of 12+ years of IT experience.
  • Skills Required:

  • 10+ years of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2 - Oracle eBusiness Suite experience.
  • Experience in EBS 12.2 online patching - ADOP tool/utility .
  • Oracle database and Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2 CPU patching experience with patching analysis.
  • Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2 Cloning from different environments.
  • Experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2 maintenance tools/utilities.
  • Experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2 on UNIX/Linux Operating system.
  • Experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2 multi-node environment.
  • Experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2 application management and system administration tasks.
  • Experience in Oracle SOA Suite in the scope of Oracle eBusiness Suite.
  • Experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2 with Oracle database on RAC.
  • Experience in Oracle RMAN backup/restore procedures.
  • Oracle database 19c experience.
  • WebLogic administration experience in the scope of Oracle eBusiness Suite.
  • Provide proactive performance monitoring and capacity planning.
  • SQL tuning with tools such as SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL T, and SQL Optimizer.
  • Create/use shell scripting for Apps DBA tasks.
  • ACMP Packaging experience.
  • Proficient in admin activities using Oracle Enterprise Manager, Exadata, and WebLogic application server.
  • Should have some functional knowledge to be able to work efficiently (Preferably in OM/AR).
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and install Oracle patches as requested by the project team.
  • Work with the project team in solving development issues that need DBA Expertise.
  • Install ACMP Packages, and CPU patches in the different Oracle eBusiness Suite environments during the maintenance windows.
  • Work with the support team in solving critical production issues that need DBA assistance.
  • Provide guidance on performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Clone the environments as per the requests from project team.
  • Create shell scripts to ease repetitive administrative tasks.
