Location:



  • Washington, DC Position Type: Hybrid Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite Contract Length: 10 months + possible extensions Position Overview: This role provides senior-level business systems analysis to define, document, and optimize business processes while supporting Oracle Cloud ERP and related financial applications.

  • It drives requirements gathering, solution design, and process improvements by translating complex business needs into clear technical specifications and actionable system enhancements.

Duties:



  • Analyze and document current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.

  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and industry standards.
  • Conduct hands-on business process and requirements analysis for Oracle Cloud ERP and integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to plan, design, and implement financial systems solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into IT specifications and functional design documents.
  • Support organizational change efforts, including communications and user readiness.
  • Lead and support UAT activities, including test planning, coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to application developers regarding business requirements.
  • Review and provide feedback on design specifications from other analysts.
  • Identify new business patterns and address corresponding process changes.
  • Build trust and strong working relationships between business and IT teams.
  • Assist with identifying, evaluating, and implementing software solutions.
  • Provide application support to business users, including troubleshooting and issue triage.
  • Develop functional design specifications for conversions, interfaces, reports, and extensions.
  • Support data cleanup, data conversion, and reconciliation activities.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation.
  • Write white papers, solution recommendations, and other analytical documentation.
  • Support testing activities and deliver user training as needed.
  • Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering system constraints and performance.
  • Document business and user needs and translate them into complete system requirement specifications.

  • 12 years Business Analyst experience 12 years Software Development Lifecycle experience 12 years Requirements gathering and documentation experience 12 years MS Visio/Word/Excel/PowerPoint experience 12 years Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite experience 12 years experience as an Oracle Functional SME in the Procure to Pay process area 8 years month-end and year-end close and reconciliation experience in the Procure to Pay process area 8 years providing production support for Oracle EBS/Cloud applications 8 years implementing Oracle ERP Cloud Procure to Pay process area Demonstrable expertise with Oracle Cloud ERP, including Oracle Purchasing and Oracle Payables modules Preferred Skills: Experience with Public Sector implementations Powered by JazzHR
