Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Consultant
with 5+ years of hands-on expertise in data integration, ETL development, and performance optimization. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting ODI-based data integration solutions for enterprise systems. This is a
contract-based, remote opportunity
open to candidates across India.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain
ODI mappings, packages, procedures, and load plans
Implement
ETL/ELT solutions
for large-scale data integration projects
Perform
data extraction, transformation, and loading
from multiple source systems
Optimize ODI jobs for
performance, scalability, and reliability
Handle
error handling, logging, and monitoring
mechanisms in ODI
Support
data migration, data warehousing, and reporting initiatives
Work closely with business analysts and technical teams to understand data requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve
ODI production issues
Participate in
code reviews
and ensure best practices are followed
Prepare and maintain
technical documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience
working with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
Strong hands-on experience with
ODI 11g/12c
Proficiency in:
ODI Mappings, Packages, Procedures, Load Plans
Knowledge Modules (KMs) customization
Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL
Strong understanding of
ETL/ELT concepts
Experience with
performance tuning and optimization
Knowledge of
data warehousing concepts
Experience with
Unix/Linux scripting
(preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
Oracle Utilities, ERP, or large enterprise systems
Exposure to
cloud platforms
(OCI, AWS, Azure)
Experience with
data migration and system integration projects
Knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines
and version control tools
ODI Certification (Good to have)
