Role: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced OCI Consultant to lead and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OCI architecture, hands-on experience with cloud migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance OCI architectures.
• Lead end-to-end OCI migration projects, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on OCI best practices, cost optimization, and governance.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, migration runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across OCI environments.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3-5 years in OCI architecture and cloud migration.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing OCI solutions.
• Plan and execute cloud migration strategies, moving on-premises applications to OCI.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration with on premise systems.
• Strong understanding of OCI services: Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity & Access Management (IAM), etc.
• Hands-on experience with OCI migration tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell,Terraform) for automation and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Sound knowledge of PaaS/SaaS products, OCVS, DR building etc.
• OCI Architect certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud Service.
