Oracle Data Base Engineer

The Consultant will be responsible for implementing, upgrading, migrating, and optimizing enterprise data integration and analytics platforms across Oracle and Microsoft Azure ecosystems. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Oracle BI and data integration tools, along with the ability to adopt and work with modern Azure-based data services to support evolving business requirements.

The Consultant possesses hands-on experience in the following technologies:

• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• Oracle PL/SQL
• Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
• Microsoft Power BI

To meet the requirements of the engagement, the Consultant is expected to demonstrate working proficiency and hands-on capability in the following technologies:

• Microsoft SQL Server on Azure , specifically Azure SQL Managed Instance (MS SQL MI)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) on Azure
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration, orchestration, and scheduling

The Consultant will perform installation, configuration, upgrade, and migration activities for the following on-premises and cloud-based environments:

• Oracle Database Enterprise and Standard Editions
• Versions 19c, 21c, and 23ai
• Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
• Versions 12c and 19c
• Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
• Migration of Oracle Databases across environments (Development, Test, UAT, Production)
• Migration of OBIEE implementations to Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)

The Consultant is expected to:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and migrate systems and components using Oracle and Azure data technologies.
• Perform end-to-end migrations of Oracle databases and analytics platforms with minimal downtime and risk.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing data integration and BI implementations.
• Enhance and optimize existing code, ETL processes, and configurations to improve performance, stability, and scalability.
• Ensure best practices in system architecture, security, and maintainability across environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support ongoing enhancements and operational support activities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in complex enterprise environments
• Experience in hybrid (on-prem + cloud) data architectures
