Requirements

·Oracle DBA is responsible to Install, patch, administer, setup, troubleshoot and monitor the Oracle databases optimal performance and support users/Application related requests, assure the database data is consistent, proper backups generated and that DR is configured to enable client RTO (recovery time objective) is in compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Linux OS Kernel DB parameters setup to enable proper DB operation.
  • Crontab jobs configuration to allow DB maintenance tasks and backups execution.
  • Oracle Installs, upgrades, patching and migrations.
  • ASM and RAC Installs, upgrades, patching and migrations.
  • Database troubleshooting and workarounds implementation
  • Database backup configuration, scheduling and troubleshooting.
  • Database Performance and tuning + critical queries tuning
  • Database Change Management control thru client ITSM tool
  • DB Vendor support
  • Support to DB projects
  • On-Call support
  • Shell/batch script
