Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Migration Engineer to lead and execute the migration of on-premises and cloud-hosted Oracle databases to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on assessment, planning, execution, optimization, and post-migration support while ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end Oracle database migrations to GCP
• Assess existing Oracle environments (versions, sizes, dependencies, performance)
• Define migration strategies (rehost, re-platform, re-architect)
• Migrate Oracle databases to:
• Oracle on Compute Engine
• Oracle on Bare Metal Solution
• Cloud SQL / AlloyDB (where applicable)
• Use GCP migration tools and automation frameworks
• Perform schema conversion, data validation, and reconciliation
