Job Description

A large global organisation is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage mission-critical production environments, support customer database migrations, and execute upgrades with minimal downtime. Providing the opportunity to work on complex Oracle and Tuxedo environments.

This is a 100% remote working position. Ideal candidates will be based in a location in Eastern Europe.

The position is a 6-12 months+ contract with the possibility for extensions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and support Oracle databases in production environments
  • Plan, execute, and validate Oracle database and Tuxedo migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime
  • Ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability of databases
  • Perform monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, backups, recovery, patching, and upgrades
