Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Security Consultant to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade security solutions leveraging Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall (AVDF) and Oracle Key Vault (OKV). The consultant will play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and strengthening our overall database security posture.
This role is based in Noida and require to support for customer projects. This role requires working from a customer location, so we are looking for candidates based in Noida or open to relocating to Noida. This role doesn't have work from home or hybrid work opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Configuration:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall (AVDF).
- Implement Oracle Key Vault (OKV) for centralized key management and database encryption.
- Integrate AVDF and OKV with existing Oracle databases and applications.
Security Operations:
- Monitor database activity and detect suspicious behavior using AVDF.
- Manage encryption keys, wallets, and certificates securely with OKV.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.).
Governance & Compliance:
- Develop and enforce database security policies and procedures
- Generate audit reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Support risk assessments and security audits.
Performance & Optimization:
- Fine-tune AVDF policies to balance security and performance.
- Optimize OKV deployment for scalability and high availability.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with DBAs, application teams, and Info Sec teams to align security controls.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer on AVDF and OKV best practices.
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting for database security incidents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database Security with hands-on experience in Audit Vault (AVDF) and Key Vault (OKV).
- Solid understanding of database encryption, key management, and auditing frameworks.
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX).
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle security features (Database Vault, Transparent Data Encryption).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Security certifications.
- Experience in cloud environments (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) with database security integration.
- Knowledge of SIEM tools and integration with AVDF.
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience.
