Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases across development, test, and production environments.
- Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Implement and manage high availability, disaster recovery, and replication strategies.
- Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query analysis.
- Manage database security, roles, and privileges in compliance with organizational policies.
- Support MS SQL Server environments as needed, including backup, restore, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to support cloud migration and deployment on AWS.
- Automate routine DBA tasks using scripts and cloud-native tools.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration (11g/12c/19c)
- Hands-on experience with RMAN for backup and recovery
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services related to database hosting and migration
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server administration and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM
- Familiarity with cloud-native database services (e.g., Amazon RDS, Aurora)
- Knowledge of performance monitoring tools and database health checks
- Certification in Oracle DBA or AWS is a plus
